Hands on help

500,00

As a volunteer, you will support the Patandi School in Tengeru and / or the Wildlife Sanctuary in Moshi in their daily routine for four weeks. This gives you the opportunity to really get to know Tanzania, its people and its nature. “You will experience stories and emotions that you will never forget,” says Ralf Sandner from Guruguru Safaris, who himself volunteered in the Patandi School in 2012. You also have the opportunity to incorporate your know-how into special projects.

Description

Where are the heroes at work?

Patandi-Schule

The Patandi School is a state school for children with and without handicaps in Tengeru. About 1200 children are currently being taught there. Around 100 of the students have a physical or mental handicap.

Sanctuary for wild animals

The Kilimanjaro Animal Crew association wants to make a difference for Africa’s wildlife and nature. One of his projects is the wildlife sanctuary in Moshi. Here elephant orphans are looked after just as competently as monkeys, big cats, antelopes and a multitude of birds and reptiles.
